In the farm’s words

Founded in 1919, and operating from our current location since 1930, our 106 year old market is the second oldest continuously operating public market in the state of Michigan. As a producer-only market, all 130 of our vendors are the grower, producer, or maker of the products that they sell. Ann Arbor Farmers Market is also open twice daily in May-December, and on Saturdays year-round. We accept 5 different food assistance programs, and have the highest amount of food assistance dollars spent at our market as compared to other farmers markets in Washtenaw County. We host special events like Cooking Demos, Food Truck Rallies, and Flower Day, and have prepared food, live music, and community groups regularly throughout our market season. We are run by the the City of Ann Arbor Parks and Recreation Department. As we are a City park, others rent our space for events like the Sunday Artisan Market, Kindlefest, Ann Arbor Asian Night Market, The Local Food Festival, and more.
